TEDDY SCARE WORKSHOP
It’s always special to take home a physical memory of your getaway, and nothing delights little ones more than their very own teddy bear. This autumn, we’ve added a spooky twist to our popular bear-making activity, kids can now create their very own bat! If you’ve already made a bear with us before, why not dress it up for trick-or-treating? We’ve got plenty of new costumes to choose from, including wicked witches and spooky skeletons, so there’s something fun for everyone.
SPOOK-TACULAR HALLOWEEN SHOW
Prepare yourselves for a wickedly good show in the Warren Retreat as our entertainment team become thrill-seekers in the Cofton Mad House. Sit back and enjoy a show about a long abandoned house with a history too twisted for most to believe. Our team break in for a night of dares and ghost hunts to find out what lurks inside.
WOODLAND WALKS
You know it’s that perfect time of year for walks when the leaves start to fall – nothing beats kicking about in piles of leave! Our woodland walk takes you through our beautiful Eastdon Estate and all the way down to Dawlish Warren. If you look closely, you can usually spot deer grazing on the hedgerows, wild rabbits darting across the path and plenty of birds chirping up in the treetops. Another walk that’s very close by is the Dawlish Country Park, the perfect open haven for your furry friend.
OKTOBERFEST
It’s time for lederhosen and bratwurst—Oktoberfest has arrived at Cofton! Join us for a week-long Bavarian-style celebration filled with lively entertainment, toe-tapping German folk music, energetic dancing, and hearty sing-alongs that capture the true spirit of Oktoberfest. Feast on delicious bratwurst, sizzling BBQ favourites, and a special German-inspired menu while you raise your stein and celebrate with friends and family. Get ready for a fun-filled week you won’t forget!
PUMPKIN CARVING
You can’t have an October Half Term without a bit of pumpkin carving fun! Bring your creativity, and maybe a few spooky ideas as you and your little ones turn ordinary pumpkins into fang-tastic masterpieces. Whether it’s a silly smile, a spooky face, or something truly unique, your carved creations are sure to light up your accommodation and set the perfect Halloween mood.
POTTERY PAINTING
It’s time to grab your paintbrushes and let your creativity shine with our fun-filled pottery painting sessions! Whether you’re a budding artist or just looking for a relaxing family activity, there’s something for everyone. Create your very own keepsake from Cofton, you might paint a colourful dinosaur, a cosy tea light holder, or even a charming sheep plant pot. The possibilities are endless!

FOREST SCHOOL

HIGH ROPES

TODDLER WATER SOFT PLAY
Our Toddler Water soft play at Cofton is the perfect place for little ones to splash, laugh, and explore in a safe, shallow environment. Designed especially for younger children, it features a variety of different floats and toys, ideal for building water confidence and having fun.
