Try Fishing Experience
On selected dates throughout the year, we offer our Try Fishing Experience to start those new to fishing on their journey towards a love of coarse fishing. No rod licence needed and tuition is by one of our a qualified coaches who will provide all the equipment and bait needed for your session.

Enjoy one of the UK’s most popular pastimes! Experience our glorious coarse fishing lakes and with our family fishing experience, you can learn how to catch your first fish! Whether it’s a stunning carp, tench or a perch, it’ll be a memorable moment when you hook your first catch.
During our family fishing experience, you will learn:
- how to bait your rod
- about basic rod setup
- how to remove the hook from the mouth of the fish
- the rules and how to stay safe around our lakes

This includes:
- 2 hour session
- Guidance of our qualified fishing coach
- All equipment and tackle
