With our two night family weekend mini breaks we also offer late 4pm check outs on Sundays – enabling you to get the most out of a family weekend away and still be back in plenty of time to get ready for school or work the next day.

High ropes family adventure weekends
Rising 8 metres above the ground, our brand-new tree-top high ropes adventure course is open to families every weekend. Designed for parents and children of eight years of age or older, this weekend forest adventure will see the family glide through 16 sections of magical woodlands. Spend quality time with your loved ones on your days off as you balance on tightropes, tackle ‘rickety’ bridges, navigate obstacles, and zip line your way through the treetops.
Family swimming breaks and adventures
There is a world of family swimming adventures to be had on a short stay with us in Devon. Cofton Holidays is home to large heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools that cater for all ages and abilities. Our qualified instructors also host several swimming sessions and lessons designed to help children and parents make the most out of our swimming facilities.
Families with little swimming enthusiasts will also be pleased to hear that Splashdown Quaywest, the UK’s biggest swimming park, is just a short drive away!
Family fishing weekends in the heart of Devon
Shrouded in beautiful Devon countryside, our family holiday park is home to four fishing lakes and some of the best coarse fishing opportunities in the area.
If you or the kids are just starting out, our new ‘Try Fishing’ experience is ideal as it will equip you with the basics and inspire a love for lakeside fishing in all the family. Suitable for children (over 6) and parents alike, a qualified fishing instructor will take you out to one of our beautiful coarse fishing lakes in idyllic countryside. From there, you will be taught how to bait, set up a rod and fish! No need for a rod licence or your own equipment, as of that can be provided for you.
Independent and experienced fishing enthusiasts are also catered for at Cofton Holidays – as our fishing lakes have 57 pegs from which you can hunt for everything from King Carp, Crucian Carp, Bream and Tench, to Roach, Rudd, Eels, Perch, and more.
Family cycling and walking weekends
If you are looking to get out into nature, we are also close to several woodland, coastal and riverside cycling and walking trails that are ideal for families – all of which take in spectacular views across stunning South Devon countryside
