Nestled away in our own Devon Valley, Cofton’s Fishing Lodges offer something a little different for your Fishing Holiday in Devon.
Forget those tired old fishing cabins, our luxury lodges are finished to a very high standard and make the perfect retreat after a day sat on the banks. Set into the hillside and offering some of the best views over the Devon countryside, our lodges are just a short 5 minute walk to the water’s edge where you can cast off and fish until your heart’s content.
With a choice of 2 or 3 bedroom lodges to choose from, you can bring the family or share a fishing holiday experience with your friends.
Each lodge is equipped with a TV in every room, large en-suite showers and bathrooms, Bluetooth ceiling speaker, and a recessed TV in the lounge over the contemporary fitted fireplace. The living area is open plan with comfortable chairs and a dining table. And then there’s the extra large decking area complete with Hot Tub.

Big Carp has been drawing anglers to our lakes for many years, in our specimen lake, Carp go up to 30lb. The Cofton Carp are stunning creatures, varying in shape and size. Varieties include mirror carp, Common Carp, and even koi-cross commons, which are a delightful surprise for our fishermen.
This year, we stocked new fish to supplement the existing stock, and the Carp reach early 30’s with plenty of big doubles to back them up. These are the target fish for many, but that’s not the whole story. Our pools are set out to cater to all angling abilities, and each offers a different challenge.
Gravel bars, reed margins, lilypads, and islands will challenge and excite you!
Do You Need to Pay Extra for Fishing?
Yes, there is an additional charge to fish in our five lakes. We offer daily or weekly tickets for guests or visitors, and each person is required to have their own ticket which covers one or two rods. Concession prices are also available for seniors and junior anglers. The cost of a daily ticket is £8.50 and a weekly ticket is £40.00.
What Type of Fishing is on Offer?
We offer coarse fishing across our five lakes where anglers can catch everything from King Carp, Crucian Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Eels, Perch and more from a total of 71 pegs.
How Many People Can Fit in the Hot Tub?
Our hot tubs are available with our luxury lodges and some of our static caravans and will comfortably fit 4 adults.
