Half Term Fun Starts Here…
This half term is the perfect time to visit Cofton for the nature enthusiasts out there – in the heart of winter the hills that roll around our glorious corner of Devon have never looked better. Perfect for a relaxing stroll on the South West Coast Path or maybe even a leisurely ride along the coast. Since it’s not exactly ‘peak season’, you’ll have renewed access to the Devonian heritage, and raw wildlife we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep.
One of the South West Coast Path’s recommended routes is between Dawlish and Teignmouth. Passing Britain’s most photographed stretch of railway line with various rock formations within sight, it’s a real outdoor treat.
Who says you can only go to the beach in summer? Well, what do they know! A stroll along our local beaches (which are within walking distance of Cofton) mean that you can go for a stroll along the beach and take in the sea air… or embrace your competitive side and get stuck into a family sandcastle competition!
If you’re looking for something a little different different, then head to the Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve. Connected to the River Exe and is a notorious migrating spot for thousands of birds. Warning: be prepared for some truly stunning views!
The best Entertainment in town
Wow, where do we start? We have an array of entertainment available during February half term to take advantage of! We have a variety of great acts lined up every night from Saturday 11th February through to Sunday 19th inclusive.
On Tuesday we have our popular circus workshop where our team will blow the kids minds with their carefully prepared routine. Our evening entertainment provides something for everyone. Great prizes are available in our Bingo Fun-House, where tickets are only £2.50!
Maybe you want to win something together as a family and create memories that will last a lifetime? Say no more. Our Fun-ominal Family Game Show will test everyone’s knowledge, wonderfully hosted by our friendly team.
If you fancy something a bit further afield, why not take a trip to Torquay and visit Kents Cavern for their family activities and ancient cave tours for some prehistoric themed fun.
