The February Half-Term is approaching fast and we want to tell you about ALL the super places you can visit from Cofton Holidays… Ready? Deep breath…

Something wild…

Pack those sturdy walking boots and head for the hills… the beautiful Dartmoor is home to some iconic Tors and also scenic sights such as Castle Drogo and Whiddon Deer Park!

What’s that coming over the hill? Is it a Gruffalo? Haldon Forest Park’s Gruffalo hunting expeditions are the quickest way to explore the epic trails Haldon has to offer.

Paignton Zoo are celebrating the launch of Cold Blooded Creatures – new for 2017. There’ll be special walks, trails and appearances by Cuba the Croc mascot!

And if that’s not enough… head over to Living Coasts, Paignton’s partner zoo and catch their Beside the Seaside! There’s a Shipwreck Trail, Puppet Show and LOTS more activities!

There’s plenty to do at Pennywell Farm! With Paco Drom, Elfic the Jester and Matt Pang there’ll be juggling, magic, circus skills, balloons, games, prizes and crazy comedy you’ll be glad of the FREE return ticket!

Something exhilarating…

And whilst you’re at Haldon Forest, you might as well hire a bike and try out the mountain biking trails… don’t worry, every level is catered for – whether you’re a budding Bradley Wiggins or a casual freewheeler.

If that hasn’t tired you out, head to Saddles and Paddles on Exeter’s historic quayside. You can hire either a canoe or a bike… either way you’re going to be getting spectacular and memorable views of the River Exe!

Something historical…

The medieval cathedral city of Exeter is steeped in history and charm. Did you know you can get a FREE red coat tour which covers everything you need to know about this curious place?

The Royal Albert Memorial Museum has recently reopened and there’s lots happening this half term! Check out the Little Explorer Classes (under 5s) and Animation techniques and special effects workshops (8+).

Something indoors…

The Indoor Clip and Climb climbing wall on Exeter Quay is a must do! And children from as young as 4 can have a go!

It goes without saying that the Indoor Pool and Soft Play at Cofton Holiday Park is a super way to splash around and relax if the skies are a little dingy outside… In addition, we have some legendary entertainment lined up!

Something to tire them out…

We’ve got several great adventure parks lurking just around the corner from us…

Crealy Adventure Park lays the other side of Exeter and with over 60 rides and attractions PLUS a massive indoor play area it’s a must do for those with some energy to burn! Have a look at their Fab Feb giveaway

Alternatively, you can head in the other direction and pay a visit to Woodlands Family Theme Park. During February Half-Term you can get a FREE child return ticket for their Super Hero and Princesses-themed week!
