This year marks the Queens Platinum Jubilee celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years of service on the throne. If you can’t make it to palace yourself or your invite hasn’t arrived, what better place to celebrate this once in a generation event and enjoy the extended bank holiday weekend than with a break to your glorious corner of Devon.
We’ll be celebrating this historic event all weekend with a street party atmosphere on Amelia’s patio decorated to mark the occasion where we’ll be hosting live music, serving delicious food and drink and having a right royal time.

Live Music
To soundtrack the Jubilee celebrations we have a line up of live music taking place every afternoon on Amelia’s patio, so you can sit back, relax and soak in the festivities.

With so much happening over the weekend we’ll be showing the major televised events live on the big screen in Amelia’s so you can stay up to date with all the events as they happen.
From the trooping the Colour and the Royal appearance on the palace balcony to the star studded Party at the Palace, you can watch as these historic moments unfold.
Royal food and drink
As well as our selection of local beer, cider and soft drinks being served at the bar, we have created two commemorative cocktails to mark The Queens Platinum Jubilee.
The Queens Handbag is a prosecco based cocktail with Parma violet gin liquor that is sure to be a real crowd pleaser and is the perfect drink to toast Her Majesty’s historic milestone.
Made using local Torbay gin with it’s signature blue colour, The Royal Flush is a posh G & T that is sure to get you in the party spirit.
As well as our full menu and Jubilee cocktails, we will also be serving Strawberries and Cream, Cream teas, Pimm’s and some delicious
food specials.
Celebrating with a bang
To finish off our special Jubilee celebrations in style, there will be a spectacular fireworks display on Friday evening at 10pm.
