Classic Campers, Coastal Cruising & Festival Vibes at Cofton’s Air-Cooled Car Show Weekender

With just days to go until Cofton’s brand new Air-Cooled Car Show Weekender, excitement is building for a relaxed three-day celebration of classic motors, live music and laid-back camper culture in South Devon. 

Taking place from 19th–21st June at award-winning Cofton Holidays, the event will bring together air-cooled enthusiasts, families and holidaymakers for a weekend packed with entertainment, great food and iconic vehicles. 

From beautifully restored Volkswagen campers and classic Beetles to vintage Porsches, Citroën’s and Fiats, if it’s air-cooled, it’s welcome. Whether you’re showcasing your pride and joy or simply love retro motors and camper culture, Cofton’s Air-Cooled Car Show promises a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all ages. 

More Than Just a Car Show 

Set within the rolling hills of South Devon near Dawlish Warren beach, the weekend has been designed to capture the carefree spirit of the air-cooled scene. Think scenic cruising, summer evenings with live music under canvas and a friendly community atmosphere surrounded by stunning countryside views. 

Throughout the weekend visitors can enjoy:

• Auto jumble and trade stands

• Show & Shine awards

Saturday’s highlights include a scenic Air-Cooled Car Cruise departing from the show field, a fun “Top Trumps” style car competition where vehicles battle head-to-head across randomly selected categories, plus live performances from reggae tribute act Sam Newman, Kitty and the Kings and 3 Days of Wonder. 

Sunday becomes the main showcase day with the Show & Shine competition running from 9am – 3pm alongside live music and the afternoon awards presentation.
