Dawlish Warren’s long stretch of golden sand is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and family days out, with scenic dunes and walking trails that connect directly to the estuary.

For coastal walks or cycling, the Exe Estuary Trail is right on the doorstep of the Eastdon cottages, offering breathtaking views across the water. Starting from the main park, the trail and coast are only a 2-minute drive (around 1 mile) away.

Another nearby favourites are Dawlish Town Beach, or Teignmouth Beach, each offering their own charm and seaside atmosphere and both easily accessible by car and rail. With nearby train stations at Starcross and Dawlish Warren, exploring Devon’s coastal gems couldn’t be easier.
