Going Green
At Cofton we believe that the little things can make a big difference, which is why we are continually investing in environmentally friendly projects and making the park as sustainable as possible. This includes placing solar panels on roof of our lodges and the main complex to generate our own electricity as well as a biomass boiler that uses locally sourced woodchip to generate heat and electricity for our main leisure complex as well heating our swimming pools and water for some of our shower blocks.
As well as our holiday guests, we also like to welcome wildlife to our park. By introducing wildlife corridors and rewilding some of the grass verges and hedgerows with native species and wildflowers to attract pollinating insects, even the bees and butterflies at Cofton are happy campers.
