Cofton Holidays, the multi award-winning holiday park near Dawlish, South Devon, has been shortlisted in six categories across two major hospitality and tourism awards.

The family-run business is through to the final round of both Visit Devon Tourism Awards 2018 and the Herald Express South Devon Tourism and Hospitality Awards 2018.

This year’s Visit Devon Tourism Awards, which is now in its 9th year, saw a record 164 entries. Shortlisted in the Responsible Ethical and Sustainable Tourism, and Holiday Park and Village of the Year categories, Cofton Holidays will now proceed to the final, with winners being announced at a glittering ceremony on Thursday 22nd November in Umberleigh.

Robin Barker of Services for Tourism, Visit Devon Awards Organiser, commented: “We’re delighted to see the ongoing development of the Devon Tourism Awards since we launched them nine years ago, and to see entrants coming from all parts of this fabulous County. Entrants tell us their prime reason for entering is now the feedback they receive, helping them hone their businesses and service still further, but one thing that doesn’t change is the delight caused by being told you’re a winner. Many congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and highly commended businesses – you’re tourism exemplars!”
