A 10 minute walk from Dawlish Town Beach by following the coast path, this is truly one of South Devon’s secluded little treasures. With rock pools to explore, not to mention the occasional Dolphin sighting! This little sandy hideaway also received the Seaside Award!

There is a car park or on-street parking in the town close to the beach.

How to Get to Coryton Cove?

The easiest way to get to Coryton Cove is via car. From Cofton, it’s around an 8-minute drive, following Exeter Road south, through Dawlish and just out the other side. You’ll find Coryton Cove on your left, along Teignmouth Road.

What is the Area Like Around Coryton Cove?

Coryton Cove itself is a lovely little sandy beach with rockpools, bright beach huts and if you’re lucky, you might even spot the occasional dolphin playing around in the water. There’s a café serving refreshments, and if you fancy a bit of a walk or hike, you can pick up the South West Path from here.

What Else is There to do Around Coryton Cove?

Aside from the beach itself, visitors to the area are just around the corner for the quaint town of Dawlish which boasts another gorgeous beach, shops and its famous resident black swans.
