Our easy access pitches include hard standing pitches for caravans and motorhomes and dedicated tent only pitches. Located close to the shower and toilet facilities which are just a short level walk away.

Electricity on all pitches is charged separately to the pitch price. Electricity supply is managed by an app that can be downloaded before your stay and is activated by scanning the QR on your arrival. Electricity is charged at 30p per KWh in accordance with OFGEM guidance.

Are your touring pitches open all year?

Yes, Cofton offers touring holidays all year round, with pitches and facilities available beyond the main summer season. Some grass pitch areas may be seasonal, so please check availability for your preferred dates when booking.

Is WiFi available on the touring park?

Yes, WiFi is available on park. Cofton has WiFi access points across the site, with free WiFi in the main complex and paid WiFi plans available for guests staying on park.

Are your touring pitches suitable for motorhomes and caravans?

Yes, our touring pitches are suitable for touring caravans and motorhomes. Some pitch types are better suited to particular vehicles, so please check the pitch details when booking or speak to our team if you need help choosing the right pitch.

Are dogs welcome on touring pitches?

Yes, dogs are welcome on all touring pitches at Cofton. The park also has dedicated dog-walking areas and easy access to countryside and coastal walks, making it a great choice for dog-friendly touring holidays in Devon.

Can I go fishing during my touring holiday?

Yes, touring guests can enjoy Cofton’s private coarse fishing lakes during their stay. The lakes are located within the park, making them easy to access from your pitch, and fishing permits are available for guests.

Do I need to pay for electricity separately?

Yes, electricity is charged separately to your pitch price and is billed based on the amount you use.

The current charge is 30p per kWh, with a Metpow administration charge applied at the end of your stay.

As part of our green and environmental initiatives, we are committed to our social responsibility of reducing energy consumption across the park and encourage our guests to only use the electricity they need.

This helps us to keep are pitch prices as low as possible and also ensures that you only pay for the electricity you use.

How do I pay for electricity during my stay?

Electricity is supplied through a meter on your pitch and managed by Metpow. When you arrive, simply scan the QR code on your electricity bollard and follow the on-screen instructions to activate power to your pitch. You can pay by card using a pre-authorisation, so you do not have to download the app to get connected.

For the best experience, we recommend downloading the Metpow app before your stay. The app works like a smart meter, allowing you to turn your power on and off, monitor your electricity usage and see what power you are using during your stay. This helps you stay in control of your costs and helps us all reduce unnecessary energy use.

Some mobile networks can be limited in parts of the park, but WiFi is available across Cofton. If you need to get online when you arrive, you can request a free 3-hour WiFi trial from Reception.

A holding charge will be placed on your payment card when you activate the meter. Your final electricity usage will then be calculated and charged at the end of your stay.
