In total, just ten static caravans are available to own at Cofton, all of which are located in the private Four Season’s owners’ area, tucked away in a leafy setting with its own turning circle, kept separate from the rest of the park.

This year, up to three static caravans will become available to buy. So, if you are looking at owning a caravan in Devon, or more specifically a state of the art, luxury static caravan in Dawlish, this could be a rare opportunity to own your little corner of Cofton.

Providing a perfect year-round destination for a second home, Cofton has so much to offer.  Pretty period villages, castles, a nature reserve, golden sands, blue flag beaches, the bustling seaside towns of Dawlish, and Teignmouth, and the wild beauty of Dartmoor are all close by, as is the pretty Cathedral city of Exeter.

The heated indoor pool is a year-round favourite, and from May to September, the heated outdoor pool is open for daily use.

Cofton’s brand new high-ropes course has 16 different stations, each elevated in woodland eight metres above the ground, and there’s a mega zipline to finish too.

On top of this, new for 2023 is a pump track created by Red Bull BMX legend Kye Forte. Here, kids can while away hours skating, biking and scootering to their heart’s content.

Add this to the new multi-use games area, the soft play area, arcade, miles of cycling paths, nature trails, Kids Clubs and a children’s entertainment programme during February half term and from Easter to the end of October, and you have the perfect place to keep toddlers and teens entertained, and busy for hours on end.

Cofton caters for all your culinary needs. This includes a well-stocked on-site shop, and a range of fantastic food options to choose from.

Why not try our award-winning dishes at Amelia’s Pantry café, or a hearty Sunday carvery in the Warren Retreat restaurant? Our on-site fish and chip shop is a firm favourite, and if pub grub is more your thing, that’s covered too at the Swan. Whatever your personal preference, all our dishes are made using only the finest produce, sourced with care from Devon and Cornwall.

We’re also surrounded by great local pubs, restaurants, farm shops, and so much more.

And, when the time comes for that all important larger shop, it’s good to know that Sainsbury’s is less than 5 minutes away by car.

As an owner, you’ll have access to our evening entertainment programme, which embraces everything from bingo to comedy and cabaret, and you’ll be able to enjoy our larger events too, such as the Cofton American car weekend each June, and Crofts – our annual dog show.

To keep you fit and trim, Cofton has a gym, spinning classes, and a range of pool and exercise classes that you can try out. There’s even an on-site sauna and steam room for you to enjoy.

Our private fishery is situated in an idyllic setting, just a short walk from the Four Seasons owners’ area. Designed to keep both novice and experienced anglers rewarded and challenged in equal measure, our carefully managed lakes are brimming with carp, tench, roach, rudd, bream, perch, and even crucians.

Only available for use by guests and caravan owners, our five lakes have 71 pegs to choose from, including pegs with disabled facilities, each located in a tranquil setting, providing year-round sport.

Tackle shop

Our on-site tackle shop, which is just a short walk from the owners’ area, stocks everything that you’ll ever need – ranging from rods to reels – and our expert fisheries manager, Luke, is always on hand for tips and advice. As a qualified coach, Luke can help out if you’re new to the sport and is available to provide lessons too – which can be a great gift for kids in the school holidays.

Competitive carp fishing? Oh yes…

If competitive fishing is your thing, owning a static caravan at Cofton couldn’t be better suited to your favourite pastime. Every Thursday from the end of April through to the end of October, we hold weekly matches on our highly stocked Mamhead Match Lake. And if big fish hunting is for you, our specimen lake holds carp up to 30lb, including mirror carp, common carp and koi-cross commons.
