Relive the swinging sixties as we take you through a musical journey over three nights of the decade that gave us flower power and free love.
Friday 26th September
19:30 – Dance Competition – Twist & Shout, do the Watusi or show us the Mash Potato – perform your best 60s dance moves for a chance to win some prizes.
20:00 – Terrie-May McNulty – Talented female vocalist Terrie-May takes to the Cofton stage to perform a variety of classic 60s pop hits
21:00 – Dusty Springfield Tribute
22:00 – Union Gap – Proud to be fully endorsed by Gary Puckett, the Union Gap continues to perform on all the major 60’s festivals in the UK and abroad. Performing the top hits “Young Girl”, “Lady Willpower” “Woman Woman” and many more for an evening of pure 60s nostalgia.
Saturday 27th September
13:00 – 60s Arts & Crafts: Headband Making
14:00 – Live Vocalist – A member of our Entertainment team sings a selection of classic 60s songs
19:30 – Fancy Dress Competition – Come dressed to impress for a chance to win some prizes
20:00 – Cofton Live: Soul Train – Jump aboard the Soul Train with the Cofton Entertainment Team in this high energy live show
21:00 – Tom Jones Tribute – It’s not unusual to be wowed by this unmissable tribute to the legendary Welsh crooner
22:00 – New Amen Corner – Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair because you’ll soon be in a “Summer of Love” mood; for New Amen Corner perform music that is full of that Feel Good Factor. As one of the hottest band on the 60’s circuit, they are able to recreate so perfectly the sound and atmosphere of the era
Sunday 28th September

19:30 – 60s Music Quiz – Test your knowledge of 60s music in our quiz
20:00 – Cofton Live: Souled On Disco – It’s a 60s soul extravaganza in this not to be missed live show
21:00 – The Liverpool Echoes –The Liverpool Echoes perform as a tribute to the groups and solo artists who ruled the airwaves in the 60s and 70s. They cover songs by The Beatles, The Searchers, Gerry and The Pacemakers, The Hollies, Herman’s Hermits, The Monkees, The Dave Clark Five and many more.
