Celebrating 50 Years at Cofton – and Looking Ahead

2025 marked a truly special milestone for all of us at Cofton as we celebrated our 50th anniversary. Reaching half a century is no small achievement, and it gave us the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and come together to celebrate everything that makes Cofton what it is today.

Our 50th celebrations were about more than just marking a date in the calendar. They were about recognising the people, the memories, and the moments that have shaped Cofton over the last five decades. From its early beginnings to the thriving community and destination it has become, Cofton’s story is one of growth, resilience, and shared passion.

Team Cake Cutting 

A standout moment of the year was the official cake cutting, which marked the true beginning of our 50th anniversary celebrations. Surrounded by our incredible team, directors, and special guest Digby, the moment captured everything Cofton stands for — togetherness, pride, and shared achievement. As the cake was cut, it symbolised not only 50 years of memories and milestones, but also the people behind them, whose dedication and passion have helped shape Cofton into what it is today. It was a fitting and joyful way to officially kick off a year of celebration.

Spirit Of Cofton Gin

At the end of 2024, our team took part in a gin-making experience, creating our very first Cofton Gin as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations. Thoughtfully designed, the bottle reflects the growth of Cofton over the years and what it has become today, with gold running throughout to mark this special milestone. We raised a glass to our limited-edition Spirit of Cofton and knew it was something we wanted to share. Whether enjoyed as a cocktail in the bar or purchased from the shop, this bespoke gin was created so you could take a little piece of Cofton home with you.

50th Fun Day

To get you all involved in our anniversary, we held our 50^th fun day! This party was a chance to connect with all our guests here at Cofton, showcase what we have achieved and to just have fun with activities, entertainment, food, drink and a cofton family get together. Our celebrations spread over all our venues so that the whole of our site could be filled with memories and joyous moments. Kids got to enjoy a disco, pool party, game shows, painting and Digby, whilst the adults raised a glass with our gin, enjoyed live music and took a whirl at the rodeo bull.

Laura Walls 50th Painting 

As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, we were delighted to welcome talented local artist Laura Wall to Cofton. Laura spent time capturing the beauty of our park in watercolour, painting the heart of our park at its best and with so much character, capturing the true spirit of Cofton. It was a wonderful way to mark this milestone year, celebrating not only five decades of memories but also the incredible local talent that surrounds us.
