Planning a Devon getaway and not sure which holiday park to choose? You’re in the right place. In this guide to the 7 Best Holiday Parks in Devon 2025, we’ve rounded up the top-rated parks based on what really matters: real guests’ reviews and ratings on Google and Tripadvisor.

Spoiler alert: Cofton Holidays comes out as the best-rated holiday park in Devon in our 2025 list.

Now, before we go any further – yes, you’ve spotted it – this article is published on Cofton Holidays’ own website, and we are one of the parks on the list. But that’s exactly why we’ve been extra careful to keep things fair and transparent. Our rankings aren’t based on our opinion; they’re based 100% on publicly available review data from Google and Tripadvisor.

Every park in this guide has been scored using the same simple, consistent and fully verifiable method: we’ve combined their Google and Tripadvisor ratings into one combined rating and sorted them in order from the highest guest rating.

So while we’re delighted that Cofton Holidays takes the top spot, the numbers speak for themselves, and you can check every rating and review for yourself online.

Below we’ll dive into the transparent methodology in more detail, or you can scroll down to delve into the nitty gritty for a closer look at the 7 very best holiday parks in Devon.

Note: Every park that made it into this list is a superb option. Devon has well over 100 holiday parks, so to be in the top 7 is an outstanding accomplishment.

How we chose the Best Holiday Parks in Devon Without Being Biased

To put this list together, we started by looking at both Google Reviews and Tripadvisor for holiday parks in Devon. We only included parks that had:

  • At least 2,000 reviews in total (Google + Tripadvisor combined), and
  • An overall rating of 4.0 stars or higher

We then combined the Google and Tripadvisor scores into one overall rating. Instead of just taking a simple average, we let the platform with more reviews have a bit more influence. In other words, if a park had loads more reviews on Google than on Tripadvisor (or vice versa), that score counted proportionately more in the final combined rating.

Finally, we ranked the parks from highest overall rating to lowest. If two parks ended up with the same score, we used the total number of reviews as a tie-breaker – the park with more reviews ranked higher, as it has more guests backing up that score.
So, in summary, we didn’t decide which Devon holiday parks were the best. The public decided, through many years of reviews.

All review data used was taken on the 14th of November 2025, and so it may have changed since then.

A side by side comparison

If you just want the short version as a side by side comparison, then the table below will give you an idea of each of the 7 best options and how they compare with each other.

Apart from the overall rating (which is from Google and TripAdvisor combined) all other values were lifted straight from TripAdvisor so they are not our opinion.

Staff are regularly described as friendly and welcoming, and there are lots of mentions of guests returning year after year.

On the critical side, a minority of reviews mention extra costs for some activities or facilities, and feel that once food, drinks and add-ons are factored in, a stay can work out quite expensive, especially in peak school holidays. Cleanliness and staff attitude also come through strongly in many four and five-bubble reviews, with caravans and lodges often described as spotless and comfortable, and team members in reception, leisure and bars frequently mentioned as friendly and hardworking.

More critical reviews tend to focus on inconsistency rather than outright poor standards. A minority of guests mention maintenance niggles (such as issues with hot water or fixtures in lodges), accommodation that didn’t quite live up to its “premium” label, or feeling that some facilities or food and drink prices make a stay feel expensive in peak periods. There are also occasional comments about parts of the park feeling noisy or very busy during school holidays, and a few reviewers note slower service at times. Overall, though, the balance of feedback is firmly positive: ratings for location, cleanliness, service and value sit in the “very good” range, and the park holds a Travellers’ Choice award, reflecting a generally high level of guest satisfaction.

Ratings for location, value, cleanliness and service all sit around the “very good” mark, and the park holds a solid 4/5 overall score, with a majority of reviews in the “Excellent” and “Very good” categories.

Less positive reviews tend to focus on inconsistency and crowding rather than the park as a whole. Some guests mention caravans or lodges that felt tired or not as clean as expected, or niggles with maintenance. Others note that the evening entertainment can be noisy for those staying close to the complex, and that parts of the site, bar or pool can feel very busy in peak school holidays. A number of reviewers also comment that food, drink and certain on-site extras can make a stay feel quite expensive once everything is added up. There are also comments about certain units feeling compact or a bit cramped, and occasional niggles around maintenance or cleanliness in specific caravans. Prices are “often considered high”, especially once you factor in food, drinks and paid activities, and several reviewers mention that the park can feel crowded and noisy in peak season, particularly near the main complex. Service feedback is also mixed, with some guests praising friendly staff and others reporting slower responses or issues not being resolved quickly. Overall, the venue offers a blend of excellent and average reviews – suggests that when everything lines up, Devon Cliffs delivers a memorable, action-packed seaside break, but experiences can vary depending on expectations, timing and the specific caravan or area you’re allocated.
