DESCRIPTION:Celebrating 50 Years of Cofton Holidays!\nin support of Rowcroft Hospice\n  \nTo celebrate our 50th anniversary\, we’re pulling out all the stops with a full day of fun\, laughter\, and entertainment for the whole family. From live music and games to delicious food\, children’s activities\, and lots more\, it’s set to be a celebration to remember. Whether you’ve stayed with us for decades or you’re visiting for the first time\, everyone’s invited to come and be part of the celebrations as we mark this special anniversary in true Cofton style! \n  \nWHAT’S ON\nLive Music – Family Entertainment – BBQ – Face Painting – Fete Stalls – Garden Games – Pool Party – Pool Games – Rodeo Sheep – Arts & Crafts – Tractor Trailer Rides & Much More\n  \nThe Mayor of Dawlish will be opening our day of celebrations at 11am. As well as live music on the Swan Patio from Phil Smyth and Rich Cottell\, we’ll be making a splash in the outdoor pool with party games and serving up your BBQ favourites from the grill all afternoon. We also have some stalls including Exeter Gin who will be showing off their tipples alongside our commemorative 50th Gin\, a bake sale and lots of fun activities from circus skills and face painting to arts and crafts and garden games for the all the family to get involved in. \n\nAbout Rowcroft\nRowcroft Hospice is committed to making every day the best day possible for people living with life-limiting illnesses across South Devon and providing comfort and support to families coping with the hardest days.\nIrrespective of diagnosis or circumstance we want to be there for people – our services are available to all those living with a life-limiting illness over 18-years-old\, and their loved ones\, completely free of charge. Most of our work is delivered out in the community\, in people’s homes\, residential homes and hospitals.\nBut for patients with more complex needs\, or those visiting for outpatient appointments\, our specialist Inpatient Unit and Outpatient Centre are set in a tranquil\, peaceful setting atop the beautiful Torbay\, nestled among 22 acres of gardens and woodland.\nEach year\, over 2\,500 people receive Rowcroft Hospice’s specialist care and support. But\, for each person we support\, there are another two who we cannot. Our five-year strategy aims to change that – and that is where we need the support of our local community so that we can help to make every day the best day possible for more local patients.\nLast year\, it cost over £9 MILLION to provide our services\, with around 75% of the funding coming from the generosity of the local community\, including individuals\, groups\, trusts\, schools\, colleges and local businesses and organisations.

Performing the top hits “Young Girl”\, “Lady Willpower” “Woman Woman” and many more for an evening of pure 60s nostalgia. \n\nSaturday 27th September\n13:00 – 60s Arts & Crafts: Headband Making \n14:00 – Live Vocalist – A member of our Entertainment team sings a selection of classic 60s songs \n19:30 – Fancy Dress Competition – Come dressed to impress for a chance to win some prizes \n20:00 – Cofton Live: Soul Train – Jump aboard the Soul Train with the Cofton Entertainment Team in this high energy live show \n21:00 – Tom Jones Tribute – It’s not unusual to be wowed by this unmissable tribute to the legendary Welsh crooner \n22:00 – New Amen Corner – Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair because you’ll soon be in a “Summer of Love” mood; for New Amen Corner perform music that is full of that Feel Good Factor. As one of the hottest band on the 60’s circuit\, they are able to recreate so perfectly the sound and atmosphere of the era \n\nSunday 28th September\n13:00 – 60s Arts & Crafts: Tie-Dye T-Shirt Making \n19:30 – 60s Music Quiz – Test your knowledge of 60s music in our quiz \n20:00 – Cofton Live: Souled On Disco – It’s a 60s soul extravaganza in this not to be missed live show \n21:00 – The Liverpool Echoes –The Liverpool Echoes perform as a tribute to the groups and solo artists who ruled the airwaves in the 60s and 70s.
