The Beaches

Oh… blissful sandy beaches. Devon is famous for them! By taking just a short walk through our magical woodland you can reach Dawlish Warren Beach – 1.5 miles of sand and beautiful views to enjoy. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round past groyne 3, they are allowed on the beach up to groyne 3 only from 1st October to 31st March. Check out this guide for all the important stuff.

But if you’re feeling more ambitious and want to venture further into South Devon, we’re so fortunate to have lots of other beaches that will ensure your dog has the time of its life! Run free across the sand, throw balls, roll around and lose hours laughing and embracing the fresh sea air. Did someone say Walkies?

There are so many fantastic dog walking areas in South Devon. We provide a dedicated dog walking field within the park, so forget the lead and let the dogs run free – the grass is on us. Throughout the area there are country and coast paths for dog walks close to the park and you can enjoy stunning views of the Exe Estuary by walking through our Eastdon Estate.

A cosy home for you, the family and your dog

We have some cosy dog friendly friendly accommodation to make you and your four legged friends feel right at home. From comfortable holiday homes and cosy cottages to our brand new luxury dog friendly lodges complete with hot tubs on the decking, you’ll find the perfect place for the whole family to relax. All come with a dog mat, bowl, bedding and some tasty treats to help keep your pooch happy. Our dog friendly accommodation are specially cleaned for every guest, as we bet you’ll be getting up to some exciting outdoor adventures during your stay with us.

There’s no need to worry about where to eat either, our on-site dog friendly pub The Swan welcomes your dog to join you for a tasty dish either inside or outside on the patio. You’ll find fresh water available and if your pooch is extra well behaved there’s even special treats for them on the bar!
